RENEX Group, a Polish leader in production process automation, has completed another international installation of its REECO RE-2100 soldering robot. This time, the device was delivered to one of CABTEC Group’s manufacturing facilities in Hungary – a company specializing in the design and production of advanced cabling systems.

Although the REECO RE-2100 model was designed primarily for automating the soldering of THT components, CABTEC’s Hungarian facility decided to leverage its capabilities in the soldering of wires and connectors. This unconventional yet fully effective application highlights the flexibility of REECO technology and its adaptability across diverse production environments. This case confirms that REECO soldering robots can be successfully employed beyond their standard application range, supporting processes that demand precision, repeatability, and high-quality soldered joints.

The RE-2100 robot offers a range of features tailored to the needs of modern manufacturing: edge (inline) transport for integration with SMT and THT lines, automatic PCB positioning, programmable solder feed adaptable to the application type, and an automatic tip cleaning system that enhances process reliability and reduces downtime. As a result, implementing the robot leads to increased efficiency, reduced production errors, and lower operational costs, all while maintaining the highest quality standards.

From CABTEC Group’s perspective, the investment in the REECO RE-2100 robot marks another step toward fuller automation of processes and optimization of final product quality. The company, with manufacturing plants in Europe and Asia, has long focused on innovative solutions that allow for flexible responses to customer needs and improved competitiveness in the global market.

For RENEX Group, this implementation is part of its broader export development strategy and the effort to build an international presence for the REECO brand. For years, the company has consistently promoted Polish technologies on the global stage, including through participation in prestigious industry trade shows such as Productronica in Munich, Amper in Brno, and InnoElectro in Budapest. These events showcase the capabilities of REECO robots, whose designs are based on experience from hundreds of installations in the electronics industry.

The collaboration with CABTEC Group demonstrates that Polish automation and robotics solutions are gaining recognition among the most demanding industrial clients. Thanks to a combination of technological innovation, high-quality craftsmanship, and comprehensive technical and training support, REECO is becoming the first-choice brand for companies seeking flexible and scalable tools to optimize their production.
