OBAC Institute for Research and Certification Ltd. is a private conformity assessment body acting as incorporated limited liability company. Since 1997 we have been conducting tests, approval and certification processes of products applied in various industries. We are the owners of LABOREX accredited testing laboratory and employ quite a number of high-class specialists performing impartial and objective conformity assessments, inspections and laboratory tests. The OBAC Institute has the status of notified body No.1461 and acts within the following European Union directives:

• 94/9/EC            Equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres
• 2006/42/EC      Machinery
• 2004/108/EC    Electromagnetic compatibility
• 2006/95/EC      Electrical equipment intended for use within specified voltage limits
• 2000/14/EC      Noise emission into the environment by equipment used outdoors.
