Even greater customization capabilities for workstations with the REECO furniture configurator
The REECO industrial furniture configurator – a tool developed by the RENEX Group as an integral part of the brand’s offering – has been expanded with new features and components, enabling even more precise customization of workstations to meet user requirements. The update includes both an expanded product database and the implementation of new visual, language, and technological options. As a result, the tool now better addresses the needs of production facilities, laboratories, service centers, and educational spaces.
New components and products in the configurator
With the configurator update, new equipment elements have been introduced into the REECO brand offering, designed to meet the increasing variety of workstation applications. Among them are the Premium Electric Plus electrically adjustable antistatic tables, available in three widths – 1200, 1530, and 1830 mm – which can be integrated with the full range of system accessories. Their introduction responds to the demand for workstations that allow dynamic height adjustment of the worktop to the operator – especially important in multi-shift work environments or operations requiring variable body positioning.
The segment of cabinets and shelves designed for mounting on the perforated frame has also been expanded. The configurator now includes new variants of rack and hanging cabinets – in 750 mm and 900 mm sizes – allowing further workstation specialization. Users can also take advantage of new space and tool management elements, such as perforated panels, container holders, and template storage envelopes. The offering is further complemented by new cable ducts – both vertical and horizontal – designed for mounting on support structures. Their use improves cable organization and reduces the risk of mechanical damage to connections.
It is worth noting that many of the introduced elements – such as footrests for Premium esd tables or drawers in depths from 400 to 700 mm – were developed based on direct feedback from customers and technology partners. The RENEX Group has been developing the configurator for years in close cooperation with end users, treating their needs as an integral part of the design process.
Expanded language version for the U.S. market
The latest version of the configurator also includes a dedicated EN-US language version tailored for users in the U.S. market. A key change here is the use of inch units instead of the metric system, allowing convenient workstation design in line with local industrial standards. Additionally, the configurator automatically detects the user’s browser language and activates the appropriate language version, simplifying operation and eliminating the need for manual interface switching.
The introduction of this functionality is another step toward internationalizing the tool and facilitating contact with partners in the USA and Canada, where REECO furniture is increasingly being implemented in both industrial plants and training centers.

The configurator update also includes enhanced visualization features – users can now switch the display mode of 3D models to a more detailed one using a new slider labeled "Display Quality." Improved graphics allow for a more accurate representation of workstation proportions, relationships between components, and actual workspace.
This solution is particularly useful for more complex configurations where the precise placement of elements directly impacts ergonomics and functionality. Better visualization quality facilitates not only the design process but also communication with the RENEX technical team – the completed design, along with the automatically generated configuration code, becomes a clear reference point in the pricing and implementation process.
The configurator as part of the real product implementation process
Unlike many visual tools available on the market, the REECO configurator is not just a simulator or an online catalog. It is a direct extension of the actual industrial furniture production process, designed and manufactured by the RENEX Group. Each configuration can be transformed into a specific commercial offer and then – upon approval – into a finished workstation delivered and assembled at the client’s site.
Compliance with ESD standards, the possibility of integrating specialized elements such as cable harness esd tables or anti-vibration tables, and flexibility in selecting components and functional layouts make the REECO configurator applicable in both large industrial plants and small service workshops or R&D laboratories. It is also increasingly used by universities and training centers, which use it to design educational spaces in line with industry standards.
